With an unwavering commitment to holistic well-being and a heart dedicated to service, Laura Graham is thrilled to embark on a new chapter as an associate licensed therapist at the Made Well Center. Equipped with a rich educational background, including a Bachelors in Counseling, a Masters in Clinical Social Work, and HATHA yoga certification, Laura is ready to bring her wealth of experience and commitment to trauma-informed practices to this exceptional team.
Laura has lived in Wilmington for eight years but previously resided in Montana, where she was an intensive in-home therapist and spear-headed a mental health program at a local middle school. Laura has served clients of various ages and stages of life and has supported them with comprehensive care and a spectrum of modalities, including trauma-focused, strength-based, solution-focused, mindfulness-based, CBT, and DBT. Her experience with these varying approaches reflect her ability to tailor interventions to each person's unique needs.
Laura's ultimate goal is to help others overcome their trauma and rediscover who they were before enduring it.
Her approach is to meet clients where they are in their journeys. Her empathetic nature shines as she creates a safe space for clients to uncover and address challenges head-on. Laura is passionate about working with blended families and adolescents or young adults in transitory stages of life. She has experience helping individuals recover from self-esteem issues, abuse, and relationship challenges.
Healing is not a one-size-fits-all process, so Laura will leverage her holistic background to help design the interventions that will resonate with vou and allow you to collaborate and walk alongside each other in the therapeutic journey. By integrating the mind, body, and spirit and exploring the connections between physical and mental well-being, Laura desires to help you love yourself and find grace as your heart begins to heal.
